Burnout is a very real problem that can seriously derail your big goals, harm your relationships, and hurt YOU.

It can happen to anyone, but if you're a parent or caregiver, business owner, entrepreneur, or if you don't have an adequate support system and find that you have to deal with the hard stuff all on your own, then you are especially prone to the potentially life-destroying effects of taking on too much.  Believe me, I know. I have been there.

You've got to nurture yourself. Balance isn't about how you can simultaneously raise 3 kids, go to school 4 nights a week after work, and manage a team of 10 or 100 people on less than 5 hours of sleep with only enough time for 2 meals a day. Those aren't the numbers that mean anything.

You've got to take care of NUMBER ONE.

When you can honestly say that you give yourself enough time and attention, THAT is when you will be able to balance everything like a BOSS.

I am here to answer that question with a resounding "NOPE."

My name is Aiesha. I'm a multi-passionate solopreneur, single mother of two former homeschoolers, artist, writer, aromatherapy student, certified plant-based nutrition specialist, and master of taking on more than I can handle. The thing is, after a few decades of trial and error, I have figured out the key to a harmonized, happy and perfectly imperfect life— and it's not about checking off boxes, completing tasks, or finding more time in the day.

Prioritizing our own joy is such a simple concept, yet something most of us busy people fail at over 90% of the time!

My life has been and can still be VERY chaotic. But I learned a few tricks on how to stay in control, roll with the punches, and face my fears through seemingly benign acts of intensive and ritualized self-care. I'm not talking about washing your face, although that's a great thing to do for yourself!
